Decorating your own bedroom as a child doesn’t seem like a springboard for a career focused on improving the user experience for customers shopping for home appliances. But a design lesson learned early in life certainly plays a key role in helping Danielle Noah ace her job as Marketing Operations Manager/CMS Manager for New York-based appliance dealer AJ Madison. “My mom had a great tip of choosing a statement pillow first and then designing the rest of the room around it,” Danielle said. “I loved the challenge of finding the perfect pillow and then bringing the whole room together to make it feel relaxing and exciting.”
Danielle parlayed this attention to detail into helping AJ Madison customers find the perfect appliance. “There are countless options available, which can often overwhelm customers,” she explained. “I wanted to make the experience of choosing kitchen appliances as seamless as possible.” To achieve this, Danielle focused on providing relevant content on brand pages, product pages and the company’s social platforms. “By doing so, I aimed to empower customers to make informed decisions and feel confident that they have made the right choice for their needs,” she said.
Danielle, 27, was hired for her skills as a web developer (UX Design) and has built more than 100 landing pages for AJMadison.com. She is responsible for promoting about 130 brands — among them Monogram, Miele, Dacor, Beko, LG and Samsung — by enhancing the digital shopping experience for each. Pages she develops tell the brand stories as well as provide unique shopping experiences. In addition, Danielle heads up social media channels for the company, earning 4.3 million impressions per year.
While colleagues describe Danielle as personable, compassionate and curious, she opts for the word “dynamic.” Asked to name her proudest accomplishment, she focuses on what’s next. “I’m proud of my ability to continuously challenge myself by adapting and trying new things,” said Danielle, who is a member of the NKBA | KBIS Manhattan Chapter.
Danielle, who is engaged to her fiancé, Sacha, also makes sure to make time for personal pursuits. “I find solace and inspiration in books, enjoy expressing my creativity through DIY, and enjoy painting,” she noted, admitting she squeezes all of that in despite being currently engrossed in planning her May 2024 wedding.
