Description

The 2020 Skilled Trade Candidate Attitudinal Assessment study surveyed over 550 high school students in grades 9 through 12 who are considering entering qualifying trades after graduation. The report addresses level of interest as well as sources which initially led to that interest for both male and female students. It also seeks to identify what respondents perceive as the top benefits and drawbacks of a skilled trade career and motivating factors that can lead to next steps. Additionally, it delves into awareness levels of various recruiting methods and preferred avenues of engagement to learn more about opportunities within this arena.
