NKBA Minnesota State Chapter

NKBA is the National Kitchen and Bath Association, a professional group of trained and experienced kitchen and bath experts. NKBA members can assist in making the most efficient and beautiful use of your space. We can guide you through the construction or remodeling process, helping you save both time and money.

The NKBA Minnesota State Chapter membership represents designers, remodelers, and all aspects of the construction and remodeling industry, from appliances to flooring, from plumbing fixtures to cabinetry.

Using social media and marketing tools, she’ll guide you through the process of how to use these tools for increased business in an authentic, comfortable manner. She’ll also teach you closet design through her course and her books that include “The Consumer Guide To Closet Design” and “How To Design A Walk In Closet”.

As a collaborator with designers and architects, she merges design skills (designing closets and home offices) and marketing skills, for messaging and methodologies that are laser focused.

TOPIC NOTES: The visual aspects of your work as a kitchen/Bath designer are top priority. So learning ways to get those visuals and then LEVERAGE those visuals moves marketing forward by leaps and bounds.   • Why and How visuals carry more weight than any other method of promotion

  • What you can and cannot do with photos you don’t take yourself

Topic: Large format tile CEU

“When someone says ‘large format tile’ what do you think of? 15” x 15”? 24” x 24”? 24” x 48”? or 4” x 16”? Come to the NKBA October meeting at Cosentino and learn the definition of large format tile as well as installation and design issues that may occur. The presentation will also discuss light colored marbles and shower floors. This CEU is being presented by master tile setter Jan Hohn and is worth 0.1 CEU credits. An open and extensive tile question and answer period will be offered after the presentation. Come and get all your tile issues sorted out!
