The NKBA, like most businesses, associations, schools and other entities, is monitoring the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak on a daily basis. The health and safety of our members, employees and chapters is always a top priority.

The National Headquarters staff has suspended all business travel and is limiting in-person meetings in favor of virtual meetings and conference calls as a way to limit potential exposure to the virus. However, we remain open for business to serve our membership without interruption. Members should keep the lines of communication open with National, and direct any questions to us via email at chapters@nkba.orginfo@nkba.org, or by calling 1-800-THE-NKBA (1-800-843-6522).

Because this unprecedented situation is changing rapidly and varies greatly by locale, we cannot recommend one blanket course of action to all of our members and chapters. We recommend that NKBA chapter leaders pay close attention to their local authorities and exercise good judgement on whether to hold meetings or other chapter events. We’re encouraging chapter leadership to consider holding meetings virtually, or postponing until more is understood about the nature and containment or spread of the virus. We will provide regular updates to our membership as needed.
