In this session, attendees will forget about the portable stainless steel BBQ grill and weather-worn furniture of backyard get-togethers long past. COVID forever disrupted the outdoor design game, transforming entertaining at home into a bona fide art form; with outdoor kitchens leading the pack as a top-requested feature among homebuyers and renovators alike.

Join Jessica Petrino Ball as she discusses the evolution of the outdoor kitchen from the perspectives of a BBQ grill expert, an interior designer, and a landscape architect. This panel will discuss mindful materials and finishes the luxury of sourcing the right appliances.

It’s her goal to make it easier for everyone to shop for products they will enjoy for years to come. She co-hosts the Ask the Appliance Experts Podcast, has been featured on WCBS News Radio, Design TV by Sandow, Luxe Talks, Foodie and the Beast Industry Nights, and contributes to several print and digital publications. She serves as Program Chair for the NKBA Baltimore Washington Chapter, leads six continuing education (CEU) courses and was recognized as an NKBA industry 30 Under 30.
