This webinar is intended to expose the audience to options that exist to make this possible and help them ‘think outside the box.

  • Identify options that exist for clients who need solutions for transferring and/or access
  • Know that there are ways to install equipment that does not require major remodeling
  • Illustrate numerous accessories that are available that are functional and dignified
Featured Presenter
Steve Weaver, CEO of Home Base Solutions

Steve Weaver is an accessibility nerd! As a general contractor, he has fully immersed himself into finding the most appropriate solution for his clients who want to live in their own Full Ac-cess™ home, regardless of age or abilities, and without it looking like a hospital. His passion for doing so was ignited from his daughter’s journey with Cerebral Palsy and, subsequently, helping his parents.

Coming from a high-tech computer company, Steve started EASE in 2003 to serve the community in a meaningful way, offering clients Dignity, Opportunity, and Respect.™ Currently, Steve and his son, Nick, started HomeBase Solutions, LLC. Additionally, Steve is a Founding Partner of Construction Education Consortium, an education company of like-minded professionals focused on Full Access™ for the residential construction and remodeling industry.

Award winning design and implementation are just the beginning of Steve’s repertoire. He truly comes alive and his enthusiasm is contagious when speaking about the things he loves: making homes comfortable, safe, and accessible; advocating for others; loving and caring for someone with disabilities; and even the tough stuff—when a dear one passes. Steve’s ability to speak from the heart and answer any question has been helpful to hundreds of people who have attended conferences at which he has presented.

In his youth, he earned the honor of the John Philip Sousa Award and Eagle Scout and still lives by the principles represented by both to this day. Days off include kayaking, motorcycling, and other adventures.
