What You Will Learn
Few people want their kitchen to be like everyone else’s kitchen. Consumers like to think their kitchen is unique. This uniqueness can be achieved by customizing specific elements inside the kitchen. In this webinar we first explore the new meaning of the term “custom”, the main differences between stock and custom cabinetry, and how this impacts the designer’s role and design software choice. We then focus our attention on current specific areas of customization in kitchen and bathroom design, paying particular attention to the trade-offs between the design and the amount of time it takes to create it. In the last section of the webinar we cover the use of software (Autokitchen) to incorporate customer feedback through the design.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the meaning and importance of customization in kitchen and bath design.
- Gain familiarity with the trade-off between the time required for a specific design and the level of detail achieved.
- Cover specific areas of focus when designing a custom kitchen or bathroom.
- Illustrate different ways to use software to incorporate customer feedback.
