The NKBA offers student membership to all students studying in the design and construction fields in higher or continuing education programs. And, membership for college/university students is FREE thanks to the Platinum Sponsorship provided by Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove. You will periodically receive e-mails from the NKBA on behalf of our generous sponsors with industry news.
You’ll be able to market yourself and further your career by attending local chapter meetings and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS®), a centerpiece of North America’s kitchen & bath industry. Chapter meetings offer a forum for education and networking to help connect you with potential employers. Use our website to search industry-specific job and internship listings.
As a student member, you get free membership, compliments of Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, and a complimentary pass to KBIS, the country’s largest and best trade show devoted to kitchens and baths; are eligible to enter NKBA Student Design Competition and other contests, and receive discounts on NKBA Professional Knowledge publications and the NKBA Knowledge Base.
If you’re attending an NKBA-affiliated school, new offerings will be released over the next several months including; access to online matching centers for internships and mentoring, professional coaching webinars and online programs, and a web page to build your student profile and begin showcasing your work. If yours is a Founding Member affiliated school, you get bonus benefits so check with your program coordinator.
