Barbour Spangle Design reinvigorates Broad Hall vignettes and expanded programming highlights 2027 Kitchen Trends Report findings
BETHLEHEM, Pa., September 14, 2026 – The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), the world’s leading trade association for the kitchen and bath industry, in partnership with Cosentino Group, today announces a redesigned Design Hub at Broad Hall, debuting at High Point Fall Market. NKBA has partnered with High Point, NC-based interior design firm Barbour Spangle to introduce a new kind of show house, creating an immersive experience for attendees. Beyond the design experience, NKBA will host programming throughout the weekend to inspire creativity and innovation at the world’s largest home furnishings trade show.
“The reimagined NKBA experience at High Point Market reflects the evolution of kitchen and bath as an essential part of whole-home design,” said Bill Darcy, global president & CEO of NKBA. “Broad Hall brings together the latest in furnishings, surfaces, appliances and more, giving designers a place to discover new ideas and see how these categories are coming together to shape the future of design.”

Barbour Spangle’s design invites attendees to experience the restorative nature of luxury. Highlights include a moody, speakeasy-inspired kitchen and an ethereal, wellness-focused bathroom. “Designing Broad Hall was an opportunity to honor High Point’s rich history while reflecting NKBA’s forward-looking commitment to whole-home innovation,” said Christi Barbour, Founder & CEO, Barbour Spangle Design. “Through layered materials, curated brand collaborations and immersive storytelling, the space invites designers to explore what’s next in holistic luxury design.”
Broad Hall will feature best-in-class products from new and returning kitchen and bath brands this fall: Newport Brass, Fabuwood, James Martin Vanities, Miele, Maxim Lighting, The Sherwin-Williams Company, BlueStar, True Caliber, Cabinet Joint, BLANCO North America, LG SIGNATURE, Kichler, Brown Jordan, Pleina Group, and Cosentino. Together, these brands will demonstrate how kitchen and bath elements can seamlessly connect with furnishings, lighting, appliances, color, and other design categories to create cohesive, whole-home environments.
Furthering the conversation on the kitchen and bath industry’s whole-home influence, NKBA has partnered with the High Point Market Authority to conduct the 2026 Whole-Home Design Study. Bill Darcy, NKBA global president and CEO, and Tammy Covington, HPMA president and CEO, will present the study’s findings at the first keynote presentation of market, taking place at the High Point Theatre at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17. Titled “Evolution of the Home: The Consumer Shifts Reshaping Design & What It Means for Your Business,” the discussion will examine how design professionals are collaborating across disciplines, where growth opportunities exist and how changing consumer expectations are reshaping residential design.
Panel programming at Broad Hall throughout the weekend will also dig into top findings from the highly anticipated 2027 Kitchen Trends Report, which will be released just ahead of High Point Market. As a leader in kitchen and bath research, NKBA’s biannual trend reports are among the industry’s most anticipated resources, offering designers valuable insight into the behaviors and design influences shaping the future of the industry. Alongside top designers and brands, attendees will explore the latest findings and emerging trends poised to define the kitchen and bath landscape in 2027.
Market attendees are invited to connect with top brands, designers and industry experts at Broad Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 21.
