NKBA | KBIS and its partners, Business of Home and Benjamin Moore & Co., recently hosted the WNWN Design Ambassadors, an esteemed group of leading interior designers from across the country who represent the best of What’s New, What’s Next. WNWN, the eagerly anticipated annual signature showcase held at the New York Design Center at 200 Lex, celebrates the latest trends, new product launches, and innovative ideas in the design industry.

This year, for the first time, WNWN Design Ambassadors gathered the day before the industry spotlight event for a private welcome reception and lunch in the Benjamin Moore showroom hosted by NKBA | KBIS and Business of Home. NYDC President and CEO Jim Druckman welcomed the influential designers to 200 Lex and encouraged them to explore the nearly 100 participating showrooms during the 17th annual WNWN event.
Kaitlin Petersen, BOH Editor in Chief, and Kelly Buchsbaum, NKBA | KBIS Director, Chapters and Learning, shared a celebratory toast to the WNWN Design Ambassadors. As Petersen shared, the NKBA has been a leading association for over 60 years, and KBIS, owned by the NKBA, is a must-attend show that becomes more energizing and exciting every year. “As kitchen and bath design continues to expand its influence over how we design the whole home, NKBA can be a valuable resource to designers,” Petersen says. Buchsbaum thanked BOH, Benjamin Moore, and 200 Lex for including NKBA in WNWN and invited the Design Ambassadors to join NKBA at KBIS 2026 in Orlando, as well as visit NKBA at High Point Furniture Market from October 25-29 at NKBA’s newly designed showroom at Broad Hall.
Throughout the event, teams from BOH, Benjamin Moore, and NKBA, including Lauren Corbin, Benjamin Moore’s Senior Manager for A&D, and Kristin Shechter, NKBA’s Chapters Engagement Manager, engaged with designers to discuss design innovations, educational resources, and upcoming NKBA events. Following their private lunch, which featured a portrait artist and showcased a custom color palette curated by Benjamin Moore for NKBA, the WNWN Design Ambassadors continued their day of design and whole-home inspiration with a series of stops at the 200 Lex showroom.
