The stylish shelter magazine celebrated its annual ode to excellence in residential design.

With NKBA | KBIS as a national partner, LUXE Interiors + Design proudly announced the winners of its annual RED (Residential Excellence in Design) Awards, recognizing and honoring innovation in new product introductions, residential architecture, interior design, built environment, and landscape architecture projects across the country. Overall, the 8th annual awards ceremony—held on June 17 at the Mart in Chicago with NKBA | KBIS Director of Brand Development Angela Rath in attendance representing the Association—painted a picture of a design landscape where luxury is no longer solely defined by opulence, but by a thoughtful integration of sustainability and wellness, delivered through conscious design and innovative partnerships.
The RED Awards feature a multi-tiered judging process. Entries are initially voted on regionally across key markets including Greater New York, Florida (Palm Beach and Broward; Miami; Naples and Sarasota), Houston; Dallas; Austin; Chicago; Arizona; Colorado and the Rockies; San Francisco; the Southeast; Los Angeles-Southern California; and the Pacific Northwest. These Regional Category Winners then advanced to compete at a National level, where National Category Winners and Readers’ Choice Winners were also selected for each of the 10 categories.
The esteemed panel of judges for the 2025 RED Awards included Suzanne Lovell, Kendall Wilkinson, Jesse Carrier, Fernando Wong, Chad Dorsey, and Jill Cohen. Their judging criteria focused on:
- Aesthetics: Is the product design engaging, compelling, and visually stimulating? Does it provoke interest and have the capacity to be captivating?
- Creativity: Does it incorporate a forward-thinking or original approach, use new materials, or employ innovative manufacturing techniques?
- Innovation: Does the product offer new or enhanced functionality or capabilities?

- Promotion on luxeredawards.com.
- A prestigious Display Award.
- Recognition at the Luxe RED Awards ceremony.
