What You Will Learn
The bath, while essential, is often a primary location for falls and injuries, especially among older adults. The responsibility to ensure that these spaces are not only functional but also safe for all users falls to occupational therapists and design specialists.
In this session, Janet Engel will educate on the intersection of safety, accessibility, and design in the modern bathroom. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and solutions associated with creating bathrooms that minimize fall risks without compromising on style. Through examples and practical demonstrations, attendees will be equipped with the knowledge to design or retrofit bathrooms that are both beautiful and safe.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to the field, this webinar will provide valuable insights and tools to enhance your approach to bathroom design to serve the fastest growing segment in the industry – the “Aging in Place” market.
