Message from the Chapters Team

Dear Chapter Officers,

Here’s to a successful summer and fantastic start to the second half of the year! Our focus is on Chapter elections, with self-nominations open through July 31 for President, Programs, and Communications Chairs. Please spread the word and share this link with your members: Become a Chapter Leader

Another focus for the Chapters & Learning team this month is NKBA | KBIS Voices from the Industry (VFTI). VFTI 2026 submissions are due June 30. Selected speakers will be notified August 29, 2025. KBIS 2026 will be held in Orlando, February 17-19 – and be sure to save the date for Leader2Leader on Monday, February 16!

New from our Member Relations team, a place to find out answers to all frequently asked questions on Membership! Check out the FAQs and videos just uploaded to our website this week.

We’re always excited to see the excitement and energy continuing throughout the year – there’s clearly no summer slow-down for NKBA Chapters! Cheers again to Metro New York for another spectacular Casino Night – it was a joy to be there! Coming up this month: Alaska 7th Annual Trivia Night; Baltimore/Washington Home & Design Awards Gala; Central Coast & Valleys Summer Sous Vide CEU; Rocky Mountain Peak Awards Gala; and so much more! Kudos to NKBA Chapter Officers for creating such outstanding, engaging, interesting programs!

Looking ahead, NKBA will soon announce Fall Market plans, as well as celebrate our permanent place in High Point. Please read the exciting news from NKBA Global President & CEO Bill Darcy: NKBA and High Point Market Authority

Be sure to enter the annual NKBA | KBIS Design Competition, now open through July 25 – and please remind your Student members to enter the Student Design Competition this week! We look forward to celebrating all of your great work at KBIS 2026 and throughout the year!

Warmest wishes,

Kelly
