Ninka is out to solve one of the biggest puzzles for kitchens and baths: Optimal organization.

The brand’s parent company, Ninkaplast GmbH, is based in Bad Salzuflen, Germany, and has a longtime distribution partnership with Richelieu in North America. Now, it aims to broaden its footprint in the U.S. and Canada with an expanded product line designed specifically for this market. It launched a collection of drawer solutions, corner cabinets and waste and recycling management systems, designed and engineered in Germany using injection molding technology.

The company introduced its newest products, TRIGON and Qanto, at KBIS 2024. TRIGON is an innovative corner cabinet fitting for semi-circle and double-corner solutions. It offers fast installation, tool-free height adjustment, maximum storage space and is completely recyclable. Qanto is a complete cabinet with an electric vertical lifter that stores small kitchen appliances, coffee makers, spices and more.

“Ninka uses high-quality plastic that’s molded into shape at our in-house production facilities,” according to Johann-Peter Wulf, managing director and the fourth generation to lead the family-run business. “It’s durable, easy to clean and the colors may be customized. Ninka also assembles metals, wood and other materials.”

Ninka was a first-time exhibitor at KBIS 2024, showing in the German Pavilion as part of NKBA | KBIS’ Global Connect Program. The company traces its roots to 1928. It got into the kitchen arena in 1955, when Peter Wulf, a member of the founding family, invented a kitchen scoop made of high-performance polymers, thus introducing the material to the kitchen furniture industry. The company has since expanded to outfitting baths, residential and commercial offices, medical facilities and more, as well as supplying other industries with components for manufacturing. Today, Ninka is a key supplier to most European kitchen manufacturers. Ninka is committed to sustainability and has set a goal of being climate-neutral by 2030.

“Ninka products have a unique and fresh design, and help to give kitchens a unique look,” Wulf said. “Our superior quality standards fulfill high aesthetic requirements and are highly durable. Our products for cabinet interiors and organization are reliable, so that kitchen designers and remodelers can focus on the overall project.”
