What You Will Learn

Great design deserves to be captured beautifully. In today’s digital world, the way a space is styled for photography or video can dramatically impact how your work is perceived by clients, media outlets, and on social platforms. This webinar will explore the art and strategy behind preparing interior design projects for professional photography and video content. Participants will learn how to thoughtfully style a space, highlight key design elements, and create visually compelling moments that translate seamlessly on camera. From layering accessories to adjusting lighting and composition, this session will help designers elevate their projects so they photograph—and film—at their very best.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the principles of styling for the camera and how photography and video differ from in-person viewing of a space.
  • Learn practical styling techniques to enhance depth, balance, and visual storytelling within a room.
  • Develop strategies to prepare projects for professional shoots, including editing accessories, managing lighting, and creating camera-friendly vignettes.
