From 100% recyclable panels to an electric grill designed for outdoor use, here are several eco-friendly products that caught our eye on the show floor.

At KBIS 2024, many companies presented eco-friendly products and solutions, confirming that sustainability is on the rise in every corner of the industry. Here, we list five products that stood out from a design and sustainability standpoint.

  1. Aluminum Honeycomb Panels by PANELUXE

This new lightweight, 100% eco-friendly cabinetry construction solution with an aluminum honeycomb core garnered Paneluxe the Kickstarter Award at KBIS this year. The company indicates that the product is manufactured with eco-friendly materials and is 100% recyclable. It can be used in acrylic panels, compact laminate panels, kitchen shutters, wardrobe shutters, doors, tandem box bottom backs, vanity cabinets and modular kitchens and wardrobes.

  1. RainStick Lite by RAINSTICK

Using 80 percent less energy and water, according to the company, the RainStick Lite also integrates with Alexa and Google. This product already comes with the same benefits provided by the original tech-savvy RainStick, but for the first time homeowners can install the RainStick Lite behind a wall.

This handcrafted, minimalist vessel sink may look like stone, but it’s actually produced with material that originates in Kohler’s manufacturing waste streams. The waste material goes through an innovative recycling process that involves cast iron and ceramic waste before being used to create the sustainable Vox sink.
