NKBA’s Design Competition for 2024 is now accepting entries, providing talented kitchen and bath designers with the ideal opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity on an international stage.

This year there are cash prizes totaling $100,000. The winners of the top prize in the Best Overall Kitchen and Best Overall Bath categories will walk away with $20,000 each!  First-place winners will receive $5,000, $3,000 for the second, and $2,000 for the third. However, being recognized by the NKBA Design Competition is also a major reward in itself, as the competition is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious design competitions in the K&B industry. All winners are honored at NKBA’s Design + Industry Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas and receive access to KBIS 2024, VFTI, the Bash and, of course, the awards ceremony itself. In addition, winning an NKBA Design Competition award can open up new opportunities and bring exposure through media outlets like KBB, Retail Observer, Luxe Interiors + Design and others.

This year, the competition has returned to its previous format, requiring designers to submit for Round 1 first and then move on to Round 2 if their entry is accepted. In Round 1, projects will be evaluated by editors from top trade and consumer publications who will be looking for creativity, innovation and that ‘Wow’ factor. For Round 2, a panel of highly qualified NKBA-certified designers will assess the submissions.

Are you ready to take on the challenge and become the next K&B superstar? Then don’t miss out on the opportunity to enter the NKBA 2024 Design Competition. The deadline for submissions is July 11, 2023.
