NKBA’s 2008 Volunteer National President Passed on October 10th
We are saddened to learn of the passing of NKBA’s 2008 volunteer national president Sara Busby, CKD.
Sara was a member of the Wisconsin/Upper Michigan Chapter and had been in the kitchen and bath industry for over 30 years. With a background in architecture, Busby designed kitchens, baths, and other areas of the home for a great variety of clients through her firm, Sara Busby Design.
In a 2024 interview, Sara shared her simple but powerful advice for fellow kitchen and bath professionals: “Love what you do–and remember that your word and honesty are crucial, and that it’s okay to say no.”
