Chapter Officer Appointments

CHAPTER OFFICER APPOINTMENT (Not an elected or self-nominated position. To be used, outside the officer election timeframe, for appointments to open positions.) Appointments are made outside the election cycle, anytime throughout the year when a position is open. Chapter officer positions will be a two-year term, with the option to self-nominate again for another two-year term. Once an officer has served for four years, they must be off the council for at least one year. Chapter Officers have an obligation to represent the entire membership of the NKBA and support the policies of the NKBA including the legislation policies adopted by their Board of Directors.
