Showcase Your Designs
NKBA Student Members have the option to enter the kitchen competition, the bath competition, or both, crafting their designs around client requests and provided plans. Winning this prestigious competition enhances industry visibility and provides invaluable publicity and networking opportunities.
Entry is FREE and the deadline to enter is June 6, 2025.
Who Can Enter?
+ Entrants must be NKBA Student Members enrolled in an educational institution on the date of submission. There is no cost to students to join NKBA.
+ Entrants must not have worked in a professional capacity in residential design, including interior design, architecture, and related fields, nor have received payment for any design services rendered, including experience gained outside the U.S. and Canada. Experience gained through internships is permissible.
+ Projects entered must be completed individually by the student designer. Co-designers are not permitted.

The top winners in both the kitchen and the bath competitions will be recognized by their peers and industry professionals at the Design + Industry Awards event held in conjunction with KBIS 2026. Winners will receive complimentary KBIS registration, hotel accommodations, and round-trip airfare to attend KBIS 2026 in Orlando, FL.
The winning designs from each category will also be featured in an NKBA | KBIS newsletter article, and awarded the following:
+ First Place . . . $5,000 Scholarship
+ Second Place . . . $2,500 Scholarship
+ Third Place . . . $1,000 Scholarship
