2025 Certified Designer Grant Program

Apply now for a grant to help you earn your NKBA | KBIS certification, sponsored by Fabuwood.

In partnership with NKBA | KBIS, Fabuwood is sponsoring an annual grant to allow eligible designers to earn their certification at no cost. The 2025 NKBA | KBIS Certified Designer Grant Program targets rising kitchen and bath industry design stars and will award 20 recipients who meet key criteria. (See below)

In addition to funding the program, NKBA | KBIS and Fabuwood will support grant recipients throughout the certification process with special events and awards.

Designers can apply for the grant by filling out the application below. The deadline for applying is May 31, 2025.

Program Requirements

To apply for this grant*, you must meet the following criteria:

Be an NKBA | KBIS member in good standing
Currently design kitchens and baths
Complete two-part application process, review here
Review Portfolio Evaluation checklist here: Kitchens | Baths
Verify a minimum of (2) years industry related work experience with (1) of those years kitchen and bath focused
Download and submit Work Verification Form within the application

*The Certified Designer Grant is free to all those who participate in the program and does not require that recipients repay the amount funded on their behalf.
