Heck will lead the strategic vision and operational execution of the company’s Kitchen and Bath category.
Material Bank announced today that Jan Heck was named to the newly created position of Global President, Kitchen and Bath. Heck was President and CEO of Miele USA, and is a former Chair of the Board of Directors for NKBA | KBIS.
In his new role, Heck will lead the strategic vision and operational execution of Material Bank’s Kitchen and Bath category, overseeing partnerships and new
member and brand initiatives. With his nearly 25 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry, Heck has a deep knowledge of brand positioning, customer engagement and business transformation.

During his time at Miele, where he also served as President of Miele Canada, Heck led the family-owned premium appliance company through significant transformation, redefining its business model and boosting brand awareness and sales. Heck was named President and CEO of Miele USA in 2016. Prior to joining Miele, he held multiple leadership roles, including President of Bizerba Canada and Managing Director of Bizerba UK, a global leader in weighing technology.
Heck also served on the NKBA | KBIS Board of Directors for three years and was named the 2023 Chair. He is also the Chairman of the Board of the German Chamber of Commerce in New York and the German American Chamber of Commerce USA.
