What You Will Learn
If you are not using social media to market your business, you are missing potential prospects that may be in need of your services. The top social media platforms for designers are Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Oftentimes, design and remodeling professionals don’t like to utilize these platforms because they think it can be too time consuming with little to no results.
The fact is using social media is not as hard and time consuming as it may seem if you have a plan of action in place. You must understand your purpose for using the platform, who your ideal target audience is and what differentiates you from other designers in your area. Once you have that down, developing content that resonates with your target audience is the way to help you stand out from the crowd.
In this webinar, we will discuss some tips you can use to have an impact with potential prospects and increase your social media engagement. We will help you develop your purpose and goal for utilizing your social media platform of choice. Lastly, we will help you create content that helps distinguish you from other design and remodeling professionals in your locale.
During this session, you will:
- Gain a clear understanding of why to use social media and results you want to achieve.
- Discover your ideal target audience.
- Explore how to create content your target audience wants to engage with.

Canvas
Canvas is an iPhone and iPad app that saves kitchen and bath remodelers, architects, and designers time on measuring and drafting as-builts. Instead of spending hours taking measurements with a tape measure or laser distance measure, you can scan rooms with the Canvas app in about a minute and the average American home in about 20 minutes.
The real time savings come from using Canvas to generate detailed 2D floor plans, measurement reports, and editable 3D CAD as-builts in formats like SketchUp, Revit, Chief Architect, 2020, and AutoCAD in as little as one business day. Thousands of kitchen and bath remodelers, architects, and designers use Canvas to spend less time measuring the past and more time designing the future.
