The past few years have shown us just how important our health and wellness is. Most people understand that the light we’re exposed to impacts our wellness, but modern marketing and advertisements leave clients and designers stuck deciphering what is actually science and what is salesmanship.
This course, led by Greg Barrett of Savant, will take a look at what the leading current lighting research shows, how to translate science into thoughtful design guidelines that can be applicable on any project and how to communicate lighting and wellness in understandable terms to your clients.

With an MFA in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design and over 20 years of lighting & control industry experience, Greg Barrett knows the power of design to influence our perception, emotions, and health. His experiences include, control integration, lighting design, product management, market education, and through it all sharing his passion for design with others.
