What You Will Learn

For the designers who have access to fully custom cabinet shops, taking off the handcuffs of the industry’s standard of a 24″ base and 12″ upper cabinets will liberate your designs, creativity and create high margin sales. With tailored cabinet solutions, you can cater to the unique needs and preferences of your clients, offering them bespoke storage solutions that truly elevate their spaces.

In this session, join Richard Landon, CMKBD as he explores how to configure base cabinets for maximizing fitted storage. Attendees will also learn how to overcome the fear of “not enough storage” when the kitchen has few or no upper cabinets. Don’t let outdated norms hold you back—step into the realm of customization and transform your designs into masterpieces.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover how adding 1″ can dramatically increase cabinet storage.
  • Learn what the “not enough cabinets” syndrome is and how to overcome it.
  • Explore special cabinet configurations that inspire award-winning design in the kitchen and bath industry.
