The great Italian Renaissance polymath, Leonard Da Vinci, once said “Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. And, like da Vinci, the brand Elletipi is proud that their products are both elegantly simple and highly functional – not to mention made in Italy. Though the brand is centuries apart from the old master, he most likely would have heartily approved of their efforts and impact on the world of design.

Generations of experience

Founded in 1954, Elletipi brings over 60 years of professional know-how to their customers and investors with innovative products and technology firmly rooted in research and development.

Prior to the company being acquired by the Bandini family in 1997, the brand primarily  specialized in the production of plastics and steel components for kitchen furniture. They then invested considerable resources to automate production, expanding their manufacturing capacity and production facility to almost 54,000 square feet, which includes automated production lines. This allowed the company to implement a widespread sales network that operates all over the world, guaranteeing flexibility, attention, and exceptional service to all of their customers.

As proof of their longstanding dedication to their craft, Elletipi obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001-2008 quality system certification in 2000 for their consistent demonstration and ability to provide products that aim to exceed customer satisfaction.

Beauty meets functionality

Elletipi intimately knows the importance of the kitchen; after all, it is the place people spend a large part of their day. To Elletipi, every accessory – from dustbins to cutlery baskets to dish racks – shapes how we interact with the kitchen environment, and to a greater extent our lives.

Underneath the brand’s elegantly simple design beats the heart of resolute functionality, seamlessly adaptable to any style of kitchen, with solutions and finishes ranging from classic to modern. Elletipi’s internal design team works hand-in-hand with its research and development department to design and manufacture the most innovative products to optimize kitchen spaces, focusing their strategy on three main product areas: quality waste bins, containers and multi-use integrated systems.

Sustainable manufacturing

With an eye towards the future, Elletipi is always working to improve its environmental performance, investing to optimize energy consumption and renewable resources. Embracing a philosophy of sustainability, most of the company’s products are made of plastic polymers, making them biodegradable and 100% recyclable. They also have a recovery system for plastic waste to be recycled during the production process.

Its production area is equipped with a modern adiabatic cooling system. For those without an advanced degree in mechanical engineering, this state-of-the-art system significantly improves overall energy efficiency. Elletipi is even targeted to receive “PSV/Second Life Plastic” Certification, and will soon meet global benchmarks set by the United Nations for ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) requirements.

North American strategy

Elletipi has expanded its product portfolio and is poised to bring its contemporary design and manufacturing capabilities to North America, with a focus on the East and West Coast. They want to establish long term partnerships with distributors and cabinet makers to develop solutions that can be used in both frame and frameless cabinets.

However, Elletipi has already made great strides in the U.S. market. The brand has not only established a presence with their U.S subsidiary Elletipi Inc., but for over a year they have operated their own U.S.-based warehouse, allowing them to develop specific projects with their partners, in addition to readily supplying products anywhere in the country – and their sales network continues to evolve and expand.

Elletipi is a company laser-focused on the needs of the customer and improving their daily lives. That begins with quality: from the harvested materials to the designs implemented to customer service. “Quality is a fundamental part of our design process and product line,” says Mr. Bandini Federico, CEO. “You can feel Elletipi quality with your own hands.”
