Thirty Under 30: Nick Weaver
Nick Weaver is one of the outstanding young professionals in NKBA’s Thirty Under 30 Class of 2025.
By Donna Heiderstadt
Being an advocate for the disabled began early in life for Nick Weaver, Founding Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Whitebluff, TN-based HomeBase Solutions. Known for his kind heart and compassion as he helps deliver design solutions for homeowners with accessibility needs, Nick learned at a young age that showing dignity and respect is an integral part of a company’s success in this specialized field. Having had a sister with Cerebral Palsy, who passed away in 2014 at age 16, had a huge impact on Nick’s decision to join his family’s journey into the accessibility industry.

After graduating from California State University Chico with a degree in Management, Nick relocated to the Nashville area in 2022, co-founded his company with his father, Steve, and earned his Tennessee General Contractor license (with plumbing and electrical as well). Now, at age 29, he sees HomeBase Soltions as a “one-stop shop” for local residents in need of accessible design. “I am using my business acumen, creative problem-solving skills, extensive experience within this particular industry, education, and accompanying certifications to serve our clients unlike anything they have ever experienced,” he says. “My sister’s loss in 2014 gives me insight into how to serve and support our clients in ways we only wish we had experienced when she was alive. To this end, my sister will forever influence everything I do on a daily basis to serve our clients with dignity, opportunity, and respect.”
Nick says his favorite part of the job is “seeing the finished work and the gratitude from our clients for ensuring renewed safety and access within their home.” Furthermore, he takes pride in his company’s ability to unite accessibility and residential design. “With our emphasis on providing Full Access™, our solutions are always intended on keeping a house looking like a home and not a hospital,” he says. Along the way, HomeBase Solutions has won several national awards for its custom bathroom remodels.
When he’s not hard at work making personalized accessible designs a reality for homeowners, Nick enjoys snowboarding in winter and scuba diving in St. Croix in the Caribbean. He is also kept busy by his at-home menagerie of six dogs: Kaos, Maverick, Goose, Zed, Bear, and Yuki. Nick says he hopes to one day add a family to that mix — nurturing the same caring values that his parents instilled in him as they set him on his path to helping others.
