Welcome fall – and our upcoming National Kitchen & Bath Month!
Over the past several weeks, we’ve celebrated our industry with exciting programs and inspiring events. From local speakers and regional design shows to global industry events, NKBA has connected with old and new friends, expanding our partnership opportunities in North America and abroad – all while continuing to celebrate NKBA’s 60th anniversary milestone year.
As the new Senior Manager of Chapter Relations, I’m so excited to be a part of these special events and programs, which I’ll share with you every month in the Chapter Officer Newsletter.
This month, in fact, Bill had the honor of representing NKBA on the global stage at IFA 2023 in Berlin, sharing his expertise and our renowned research, while gaining inspiration and insights to bring back to our Chapters and partners (NKBA at IFA). We had many energizing conversations that will lead to new opportunities for NKBA, and we invite you to see Bill’s recap of our experience here.
Turning back to North America, there are two important dates coming up – we’ve just extended the deadline to Oct. 13 as the last day for members to register for KBIS 2024, and Oct. 1 is the first day for Chapter Star Awards applications! Please remind your Chapters that Oct. 13 is now the last day for members to register for KBIS here at no cost. (However, if you are a returning officer, please await our official KBIS registration letter to be sent in the coming days.) We’re excited to open our Chapter Star Awards on Oct 1 – Click Here to Enter Star Awards. Nominations are accepted through Oct. 31, with Star Awards to be announced and celebrated at KBIS. The 2024 show from Feb 27- 29 in Las Vegas kicks off the 60th anniversary of KBIS – and it will be bigger than ever!
It’s been an exciting, special 60th anniversary year for NKBA, and the celebrations will continue through the coming months. Our most recent 60th event was hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Chapter, which held its event at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton Township, NJ, where guests enjoyed a lively cocktail party and fun giveaways.
