JOB DESCRIPTION Axon Cabinets is looking for a Kitchen & Bath Designer to help with its expanding operation. If you have an established, proven track record of design success keep reading! You will design products and develop concepts for products that are manufactured. You will use your artistic, business, and engineering talents to design various products for manufacturers. In addition to designing products, you must also coordinate product development. You will be responsible for product specifications and performance. You will consider costs and sustainability goals when designing products. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office. You must be comfortable with making presentations. Another objective you will have is to maximize products sold and achieve high customer satisfaction. You may need to maintain customer relationships and a customer database, generate leads, prepare sales and action strategies, develop client referrals, prepare sales contracts, conduct product training, and ensure smooth sales processes. (Copyright 2018 Designer Tasks: Measure, design, follow-up, close, and order multiple kitchens efficiently under a tight deadline. Work independently with minimum supervision, as well as in a team environment. Manage client expectations and satisfaction from initial consultation to final installation. Develop and design manufactured products. Create presentations and reports for new items. Responsible for material selection and recommendation, work through debugging issues with new items. Oversee projects from inception to completion, reviewing project plans, designs and deliverables. Input on industrial design, aesthetic, interface and functional solutions for products. Work with CAD software. Support and work together with our sales/design team. Maintain knowledge of all cabinet lines and relative pricing. Process payment for products or service may maintain customer preference records. Understand the product features, trends or styles of the products/services. PREFERRED CANDIDATE Familiar with computer software related to kitchen cabinet designing. Knowledge of relevant construction and project management related software, such as AutoCAD, Sketch-up, MS Office, MS OneNote, MS Project.
