Thirty Under 30 nominations are open through Aug. 16! Meet two outstanding alumni here.

NKBA’s Thirty Under 30 program recognizes accomplished young professionals on their path to being the industry’s rock stars and future leaders. Nominate an outstanding individual, born on or after Jan. 21, 1990, to be considered for entry into this elite group — self-nominations are welcome!

The Thirties program has identified some amazing young talent. For instance:

Meet the Ferrarini brothers. Matthew Ferrarini was a member of the class of 2013, and Jordan Ferrarini earned his spot in 2016. Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in 2010 and is also a certified construction manager. He’s principal designer in his family’s business, Ferrarini Kitchens, in Elkins Park, Pa., a suburb just north of Philadelphia. While well-versed in all areas of construction and interior design, he considers luxury kitchens and baths to be his forte. He recently addressed the Thirty Under 30 current class and alumni on the intersection of connected-home technology and the well-designed kitchen at the Signature Kitchen Suite Experience and Design Center in Napa Valley, Calif.

Jordan holds multiple trade licenses and certificates including a Construction Management Certification from Temple, an ICC Master Electrical License and a National Association of Home Builders Carpentry Certification. He founded Trades for a Difference, a 501c3 non-profit organization, in February 2016 as a way to give back to underprivileged neighborhoods throughout the city. The program helps guide young people, age 16 to 26, prepare for apprenticeships and ultimately careers in a number of facets of the construction industry, whether skilled trades like plumbing, electric and carpentry or academic pursuits like architecture or engineering. TFAD renovates and restores dilapidated buildings in impoverished areas to help communities rebound.

The Thirty Under 30 Class of 2020 will be honored at KBIS in Las Vegas, Jan. 21-23, where they’ll have the opportunity to network with program alumni and past presidents of the NKBA, participate in the 30s Choice Awards, gain national media exposure, as well as earn a free trip to KBIS (airfare and hotel), an expo pass, conference pass, access to NKBA events including the Kitchen + Bath Design and Industry Awards and Opening Night gala and the best party at KBIS, the Bash. There are numerous pre- and post-event networking activities, as well as interesting and informative programs for the Thirties during the year.
