NKBA Overview
Membership:
There are more than 40,000 NKBA members across the United States and Canada.
Chapters:
The NKBA has 71 chapters/subchapters across North America. These chapters are networked in eight regions to promote chapter and member growth and development.
Student Chapters:
There are 24 NKBA Student Chapters. NKBA Student Chapters may only be formed at educational institutions that have received NKBA Supported/Endorsed Status. There are more than 1,500 NKBA Student Members.
Education:
Professional Development: The NKBA offers more than 100 professional development courses across the United States and Canada, helping kitchen and bath professionals develop advanced design and business skills. Online programs are also available.
Certification:
The premier hallmark for kitchen and bath professionals, NKBA Certification in Kitchen and Bath Design is based on stringent written examinations and extensive industry experience. More than 3,400 individuals are certified by the NKBA.

Professional Resource Library:
Written by recognized industry experts and thoroughly reviewed by top technical editors and industry experts, the Professional Resource Library is the most definitive source of information in the kitchen and bath field. The nine-volume set covers all aspects of the kitchen and bath industry and are the basis for the NKBA Certification Exams.
Supported & Endorsed Programs:
The NKBA has more than 48 colleges and universities across the United States and Canada that teach NKBA Standards and are endorsed by the Association.

K/BIS:
The NKBA is the proud owner of the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS), the world's largest trade show dedicated to the kitchen and bath industry. NKBA members receive discounted registration and exhibit floor fees.
NKBA Design Competition:
Open only to NKBA Members, the NKBA Design Competition recognizes excellence in the field of design in 10 categories covering kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms such as home offices, showroom displays or non-residential spaces including restaurants, reception areas and cooking schools. Award winners receive cash prizes as well as increased industry visibility, peer recognition and valuable publicity opportunities.
