CAD Tip #1: Using the Auto Deco Function

Once you've completed the design process and are ready to start placing furniture and decorative items, Auto Deco lets you add all the necessary accessories to make your creation stand out.

With a few mouse clicks, you'll add tables, chairs, countertop items and lots more to enhance the buyer appeal of your design.

To Get Started

  1. Click on the View menu and select Assistants.
  2. In the Design Assistants box, click on the Auto-Deco Kitchen title bar, then click Launch.

  3. Click on the Advance button to expand the dialog, allowing you to make the choose specific accessories in various categories. There are some preset categories which give you different color and texture scheme. Test them to see the results. Undo will take you back one step.
  4. Browsing through the different tabs, you can select specific decorative items to place on the design floor plan.

  5. Once you've selected all the items you want on your floor plan, click on the Start button to begin the Auto-Deco process.
